This position is located in the Wyoming Air National Guard State Headquarters. The purpose of this position is to provide staff assistance, guidance, and direction concerning ANG personnel, administration, training, recruiting, retention, incentive, and budgetary matters to the Administrative Officer, the Adjutant General, the Assistant Adjutant General (Air), Wyoming ANG staff and Wyoming ANG units, and to provide supervisory guidance to assigned Wyoming ANG Headquarters personnel.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Military members: Submit vMPF Rip, DVR, ERB, ERS, MBS, or PDR with resume.
Must become a member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appointment to position.

May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
The Selected applicant must complete an "I-9, Employment Verification", "OF-306, Declaration of Federal Employment", and a "Declaration of Relatives in the Wyoming Military Department" prior to the appointment date.
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS).
Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible. Subject to funding and TAG approval.
PCS is not authorized in lieu of incentives.
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a Technician.
Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory. A graduate degree from an accredited civilian academic college or from an equivalent professional military education school is optimum.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-11 level or the equivalent in personnel and manpower core competencies: Organization Structure, Requirement Determination, Program Allocation and Control, and/or Performance Improvement; and specialized knowledge of all applicable merit principles and practices related to federal civilian, military, and National Guard technician personnel programs.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

MILITARY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

US Army: 42B - Human Resources Officer; 42H, Senior Human Resources Officer
If not already in possession, within one year of appointment, the selectee must successfully complete the Force Support Officer Initial Skills Training (IST) including Officer Field Education (OFE).
