Responsibilities
- You will serve as the command?s primary interface to the NET (Navy Enterprise Tools) for the tracking of NMCI (Navy and Marine Corps Internet) users and inventory.
- You will coordinate with webmaster to remain current on the state of public, private and classified command web sites.
- You will manage and track requests for command.
- You will respond to customer needs across a variety of IT encounters, intervening to resolve issues and creating responses when required.
- You will assist with phones and other telecommunications services.

- May be required to climb ladders to inspect wiring in overhead areas and to run information systems cabling.
- May be required to move, stack, rearrange or inspect equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as:
- Manipulating user data and inventory in NET (Navy Enterprise Tools) and conducting computer asset inventory.
- Resolving minor hardware and software issues and understanding WAN, MAN, CAN, and local networking concepts to include understanding OPSEC current practices and concepts.
- Manipulating data in a sharepoint web environment and developing and updating web content.

"This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area 411 and as a condition of employment, incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which includes:
1. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned, and;
2. Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor."
