This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), Office of Innovation and Collaboration (I&C), Office of National Laboratories (ONL), Washington, District of Columbia.
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) activities between ONL S&T Lab programs and projects - conducting projects that evaluate homeland security technologies and systems..
- Presents original or derived data in their most pertinent form, which may include text, graphs, charts, tables, and models. Responsible for analyzing data using appropriate statistical techniques, developing, writing and presenting findings.
- Plans, researches, and implements the full scope of investigative projects requiring application of statistical theory related to Homeland Security Enterprise issues with a specific focus on RDT&E.
- Develops research methods to identify and analyze technology developments, budgetary processes and status, and return on investments.
- Performs analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of test data and results and develops conclusions, and pertinent recommendations and suggestions relative to the acceptability or application of item/system tested or the validity of test data when controversial test methods are applied.
