    This position is located in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Under Secretary Domestic Finance, Office of the Assistant Secretary (Financial Institutions), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Financial Institutions Policy), Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection (OCCIP).

    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist, you will:

    -Provide expertise in IT technology, IT management, and make recommendations to management and other specialists on critical IT issues; apply new developments to previously unsolvable problems; and make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence the OCCIP Cyber Security Program

    -Coordinate cyber and all-hazards incident management activities with FBI, DHS, and the financial sector regulators to ensure a shared situational awareness of incidents and other operationally disruptive events and government actions in response to incidents and other disruptive events in the financial sector.

    -Perform incident analysis, develop and share situational awareness products and make recommendations to OCCIP leadership on potential Treasury actions.

    -Conduct both internal and external coordination for the development and implementation of policy, procedures and standards for incident management.
