    You will serve as a General Engineer in the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Engineering Department (N7), Configuration and Maintenance Standardization Engineer Branch (N7XLC3M) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

    • You will be responsible for engineering life cycle management planning for assigned MSC ships including the development of long range (5-30 year) plans for maintenance, operation, repair, and support of TRANSALT.
    • You will maintain the Class and individual ship life cycle plans in support of DSM Program Manager, Engineering Type Desk and Principal Port Engineer (PPE) planning.
    • You will maintain liaison with American Bureau of Shipping, U. S. Coast Guard and other agencies concerned to keep abreast of new engineering repair developments and to resolve issues affecting classification and compliance, etc.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
