This position is located in the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area, Aquatic Animal Health Research Unit with one vacancy in Auburn, AL.

Research objectives include the investigation of host pathophysiology and performance following parasitic insult and development of methods for the control and prevention of parasitic diseases in aquaculture.Responsibilities
- Performs research on control and prevention of parasitic diseases of fish.
- The research studies will result in a series of publishable contributions and technology transfer that will benefit aquaculture by improving health practices for the control and prevention of parasitic infection.
- Results will lead to new inventions, theories, and hypotheses in virulence, immunity, and vaccinology that will aid our understanding of the complex host-pathogen relationship in fish health.

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
