    The incumbent will serve as a team leader providing professional senior-level health scientific activities support and expertise for designing and conducting research focused on identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging public health issues and problems as it relates to occupational safety and health.

    • Designs, plans and initiates health scientific studies, surveys, and investigations.
    • Identifies and analyzes public health issues and their impact on public policies or health scientific studies or surveys.
    • Authors or coauthors manuscripts or technical reports reflecting the results of the research and arranges for publication of such documents after approval by appropriate reviewing officials.
    • Prepares complete, accurate, concise, and clear reports relating to the project area and presents the results of research efforts in appropriate scientific journals or at scientific meetings.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 5% domestic travel may be expected for this position.
