The facility CITC Program Manager is primarily an administrative Nurse who executes clinical leadership and has an expanded knowledge of the CITC Program within the VA medical center. The facility CITC Program Manager is an assertive professional with strong interpersonal, oral and written skills. The VA Medical Center (VAMC) CITC Program Manager provides facility guidance about change implementations as directed by the VA Central Office, VISN, and facility while working across multiple service lines and disciplines.
The facility CITC Program Manager is responsible for accomplishing multiple projects related to the aforementioned functions. The incumbent must analyze situations and develop plans to allow the organization to accomplish various objectives specific to a given situation.
Situations may involve opportunities, risks, local VA initiatives, national VA initiatives, etc. The facility CITC Program Manager must develop written planning documents, prepare and deliver presentations to multiple groups, conduct sophisticated analyses which may include computer modeling and financial assessments, and lead project groups that may be large and multidisciplinary in nature.
The nature of the projects will often require short turnarounds and frequently require development of extensive documents. The facility CITC Program Manager is expected to be creative and use his/her background and technical knowledge to problem solve independently.
The facility CITC Program Manager supports the network and VHA mission in collaboration with VA Strategic Planning and with ongoing collaboration with VISN and facility Leadership teams.
Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
