    Summary

    CMS Pathways 2021 Summer Internships will be 100% telework for the duration of the temporary Summer appointment.

    As a Student Trainee (Information and Arts), GS-1099-4, you will assist staff with tasks related to public affairs, writing, editing, web activities, photography, videography, and/or social media.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in research and information collection for specific writing assignments and perform other similar tasks to learn the basic methods, procedures, and techniques of the public affairs field.
    • Assist in coordinating social media and web activities, updating internet sites/pages, and producing communication products (videos, articles, newsletters), as needed.
    • Assist in developing partner engagement plans and identifying new partners and appropriate contacts within organizations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 5% for this position.
