At GSA, our Program/Management Analyst will have the chance to perform a wide variety of analytical assignments in the form of projects, research, and other initiatives that impact a large variety of GSA’s diversified programs. Work in this field will include: research and investigation of new and improved business and management practices which include the following:
- Analyzing the issues in the assignment, then selecting and applying accepted analytical techniques such as task analysis, work simplification, work-flow charts, workload measurement and management and organizational practices to determine the most effective methodology needed to meet program goals and milestones;
- Using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to research and gather narrative and/or statistical information and applicable work methods and procedures to meet deadlines and carry out the successive steps in fact-finding and analysis of issues necessary to complete each phase of assigned work/projects; and
- Preparing and delivering briefings to management and/or senior staff employee(s) on study findings and recommendations
