Summary

You will serve as a REGION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR for COMNAVREGSW.

The incumbent is the senior civilian in the command, reporting directly to the Region Commander. Provides supervision and direction to Region Directors in execution of all programs supporting the 10 Naval Installations of the Southwest.

- You will manage strategic program planning, sourcing, and development of best business program initiatives.
- You will analyze program requirements impacting budgetary and financial policy to identify recommendations for acquisition or use of funds.
- You will supervise or manage military, civilian, or contractor personnel in the execution, accomplishment, and coordination of mission requirements.
- You will brief senior leaders on long-range plans, goals, or objectives to gain support for program initiatives.
- You will assess the impact of plans, policies, and resources on an organization's mission.

- The incumbent will be required to perform occasional travel.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Providing senior advisory expertise and oversight capability for all aspects of Shore Installation Management (SIM), e.g. Total Force Manpower Management, Operations, Emergency Management, Facilities and Environmental, Construction and Contract Oversight, Supply Operations, Shore Integrated Requirements, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Comptroller, Fleet and Family Readiness; 2) Providing coordination of installation, region staff, and program responses to higher authority and outside agencies; 3) Establishing and fostering relationships with key individuals, groups or private and public officials; 4) Providing organizational representation at community events, forums, and state/municipal boards.(NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.)
