Summary
The purpose of the position is to provide leadership and resource management (finance, human, and acquisition), leading the development and implementation strategy required to manage IT end user operations for a group of areas within an OIT End User Operations District.

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary. There are no special physical demands for this position.Major Duties:-
- Direct responsibility for support services and delivery for all VA customers within their areas and collaborates closely with partners in the Infrastructure Operations and Command Center Operations divisions to deliver full service and total ticket management for VA IT end users.
- Provide direction on the integration of the area Administrations' and VA staff offices' assets and services into the "MyVA" OI&T model, leverages economies of scale to obtain operational efficiencies, and manages and implements a level of standardization across the areas.
- Provides leadership, planning, and management of information technology strategy, development, and implementation in their assigned areas.
- Collaborates and Provides recommendations on the development and implementation of IT policy and strategy to manage mission critical IT field operations VA-wide, impacting all administrations.
