Summary

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is for Citizens and Non-Citizens who live within a 30 mile radius of West Point. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

This position is located at the West Point Bowling Center.

Responsibilities
- Drives various types of vehicles from sedans to passenger vans and trucks weighing up to 10,000 pounds to deliver customer food orders on post.
- Collects money for delivered orders and reconciles with delivery tickets.
- Fills out driver's accident reports.
- Performs driver's maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations.
- Performs lower graded Food Service and Custodial duties when not operating vehicles.

Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

1. Possess prior cash handling experience.
2. Possess a valid driver's license.

This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Proof of valid driver's license will be required prior to appointment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of safety rules and traffic regulations. Skill in determining the shortest and safest route. Ability to recognize hazardous conditions. Ability to handle money and count change back to customer.
