    Responsibilities

    The Headquarters Installation Management Command's (IMCOM) Director of Human Resources (HR), provides staff direction and administration of a comprehensive human resources management program involving both civilian and military personnel management in the headquarters, regions and garrisons throughout the command. Provides executive leadership, impetus, and direction in establishing and maintaining a proactive and visionary civilian and military Human Resources Program that is responsive to the needs of both IMCOM management, military, civilian employees, family members and retirees. Worldwide mission responsibilities of Human Resources include: functional program oversight of Civilian Personnel Management; Army Continuing Education System (ACES); Military Personnel Management and Offices; Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Suicide Prevention Programs; Workforce Development Programs; and Administrative Services Programs. Responsible for a budget of approximately $290M. Performance is reviewed in broad terms directing the distribution of resources in accordance with established standards and metrics. Serves under the general direction of and receives broad strategic guidance from the Executive Deputy to the Commanding General, IMCOM with full authority and responsibility for the direction and administration of all Human Resource Programs in the Command including five geographically dispersed Directorates. Oversees a workforce of 86 civilian and contractors; directly supervises personnel at the GS-15 level.
