    The primary purpose of this position is to broaden the skills, enhance and develop the executive career broadener's leadership competencies, technical occupational competencies, and business skills while contributing support to the mission and function of the organization and processes of the AF Civil Engineering Civilian Career Enhancement Program

    1. As a Career Broadener, serves as the strategic and integrated advisor/technical expert consultant and represents the USAF in matters relating to Industrial Control System and Cybersecurity Engineering activities and discussions with the SAF, HAF, DoD agencies, DoD Services (Army, Navy, USMC), Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Air Force Installation Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), as well as the MAJCOM civil engineer staffs.
    2. Serves as the technical advisor to the Chief, Facility Division and provides engineering and architectural theories to all phases of the organization's work.
    3. Performs career broadening assignments, to provide operational, managerial, procedural, policy requirements and oversight along with engineering or architectural theories.
    4. Represents the concerns of the Air Force at strategic meetings and conferences; prepares staff studies and various documents to meet special needs; develop and gives oral presentations; leads and/or serves on steering committees.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
