    About the Position: The Garrison provides installation capabilities and services to support expeditionary operations in a time of persistent conflict, and to provide a quality of life for Soldiers and Families commensurate with their service.

    • Serves as an environmental engineer/program manager and action officer responsible for one or more major national priority list site cleanup programs.
    • Serves as senior action officer responsible for managing assigned programs and serving as the installation consultant and advisor on all matters relating to environmental planning, development and conservation in assigned areas.
    • Inspects and evaluates facilities and operations, as required, or in response to requests to identify and resolve problems or determine need for modernization, alteration or repair relative to assigned environmental programs.
    • Maintains liaison and coordination with installation tenant activities, higher headquarters, State, EPA, Army Commands and higher-headquarters, and the Corps of Engineers.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
