Manages all clinic cancellations, clinic set up, and restore clinics. Assist with ensuring prior to new clinics set up bookable hours and labor mapping are reviewed with Business Manager. Incumbent will implement a variety of monitoring/reporting tools for each unit within the service to include clinic set up procedures, customer service, new initiatives, patient access and trains employees how to utilize them. The incumbent will be required to make clear, concise, and effective oral and written reports, and skilled at applying the principles, theories, techniques, and practices of professional auditing to problems encountered. The incumbent acts independently to plan, organize, direct, and control areas with emphasis on data validation, analysis and generation of reports associated with the facility. The ability to provide support and education on documentation issues and assists in the development of guidelines for data compatibility, consistency, and monitoring for compliance to improve the quality of clinical, financial, and administrative data to assure that every part of the information is completely documented and supported. Reviews, verifies, and analyzes date submitted for consistency with financial and program objectives, and adherence to VA directives. Responsibilities of the incumbent(s) include management analyst, training and organizational development. Incumbent(s) will be involved in an extremely complex blend of computer technology, medical information, communication skills and leadership qualities in a rapidly changing environment. The Veterans Health Information & Technology Architecture (VistA) is one of the largest of its kind and breaks many barriers in the areas of public domain software, language standardization, and decentralization of ADP within the VA He/she must possess vast computer knowledge in creating and capturing data. Must demonstrate an awareness and appreciation for the pressures and demands of this position and be able to deal effectively with responsibilities. Must be able to maintain cooperative, effective relationships with a wide variety of individuals. Incumbent(s) are responsible for assisting with establishing and maintaining clinic profiles, once approved by Service Chiefs or designee, and works closely with all staff from all services as well as MCA and HIMS staff
