    Responsibilities

    The incumbent of this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising the operation and administration of USPTO’s motor vehicle transportation program. In this role, the employee directs and oversees the services provided by the USPTO motor vehicle fleet, consisting of seven (7) vehicles, including sedans and passenger shuttle buses. The services provided include chauffeuring services for senior officials transported throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, as well as delivery of official government documents and packages to other federal agencies. Also the incumbent is responsible for providing information and data to the Office of Procurement for preparation of contract specifications or invitations to bid on the USPTO shuttle services contract.
