    The Division Director of Organizational Services:

    Works directly under the Deputy Director of Career & Leadership Development and closely with the Executive Director and the AHD Leadership Team to identify and coordinate milestones and deliverables in order to achieve results.

    Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and/or disciplines within a major subdivision.

    Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff, contacts, and other resources to accomplish objectives for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and/or disciplines. Manages budgets and either reallocates resources among organizational units/projects/programs or acquires additional resources as needed.

    Prepares written and oral reports, briefings and recommendations summarizing findings and conclusions with supporting materials including proposals, position papers, strategic plans, briefing papers, reports and correspondence or AHR, LOB/SO and Agency programs.

    Assists the Executive Director and Deputy Director in providing LOB/SO directors, managers, and staff with timely information. Serves as the focal point for directors and managers to provide information to the AHD Executive Director and Deputy Director and maintains an electronic file structure of all communications.

    Plans, organizes, and implements major initiatives emanating from the Office of Career & Leadership Development to the LOB/SO, Agency, and other Department Organizations.

    Collaborates with the LOB/SO stakeholders in the development of Career & Leadership Development initiatives, coordinates with program officials to evaluate the feasibility and complexity of the initiative, and makes recommendations for implementation.

    Leads, represents, and conducts special studies or projects having agency wide impact. Monitors progress and adherence to timeframes and deadlines by developing project schedules, communicates milestones and results, writes scope and requirements, maintains project documentation, and reports on process/results of the study/project.

    Develops and approves solutions to current and anticipated problems that cross organizational lines and disciplines. In doing so, considers technical, budgetary, regulatory, and political issues that involves other organizations inside and outside the FAA.

    Coordinates Workforce of the Future updates, AHD Executive Director and Deputy Director outreach to all agency executives, and to the Department Chief Learning Council and other Federal work groups.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.
