    This is the lead Budget position within the East Business Management Group in the Midwest Region (MWR) Lake Michigan-Ohio Zone. Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CUVA) is the lead park for the East Business Management Group, which provides guidance and services to five parks: CUVA, Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument (CHYO), First Ladies National Historic Site (FILA), James A. Garfield National Historic Site (JAGA), and Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial (PEVI). As the senior Budget Analyst for the business group, this position directly supervises three GS-6 Budget Assistants and two GS-9 Budget Analysts duty stationed at CUVA and provides technical direction to three GS-6 Budget Assistants duty stationed at CHYO, JAGA and PEVI. This position is also the Recreation Fee Program Manager and manages the Service-wide Comprehensive Call.

    AREA INFORMATION: Located in Northeastern, Ohio Cuyahoga Valley National Park is situated along 22 miles of the Cuyahoga River Valley in a suburban setting between the cities of Akron and Cleveland . The park is predominately natural forest and meadow with some areas of agriculture and excellent outdoor recreation opportunities. Winters are moderately cold with average temperatures in the 20 to 30 degree ranges. Heavy snowfall is not unusual. Summers are moderately warm, average temperatures in the high 70's and 80's with occasional warm spells in the 90's. Rural, suburban, and urban communities are all within a reasonable commuting distance.
