The Senior Analyst reports directly to the Division Director in NCSES. NCSES has as its prime objective the development of factual and analytical information on science and engineering resources. This includes data collections, surveys, and special studies on the education of scientists and engineers, the scientific and engineering workforce, and the financial and physical resources related to the U.S. research and development enterprise. NCSES accomplishes its work using both in-house staff and contractors for data collections, surveys, methodological development, data dissemination and analytical activities.
