    This position is located in the Office of Rewards for Justice (RFJ), Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Department of State. RFJ is a congressionally mandated program, authorizing the Secretary of State to offer monetary rewards for counter-terrorism information. The incumbent is responsible for providing expert analysis, advice, and guidance in support of Rewards for Justice.

    • Plans and coordinates activities with RFJ contractors and the Department of Defense in support of the RFJ Office’s advertising campaigns. Ensures that plans for advertising campaigns are consistent with approved advertising objectives.
    • Provides a variety of expert analytical and advisory services that supports the planning, development, operations, and oversight of the RFJ Office.
    • Works closely with officials at overseas posts to ensure that RFJ Programs follow applicable policies and guidelines and support the RFJ counterterrorism mission.
    • Coordinates RFJ-related public affairs/public diplomacy activities within the Department and with interagency partners and the private sector, as required.

    Occasional travel - Occasional domestic and overseas travel is required.
