    This position is located in the Data Analytics and Performance Management (DAPAM). Office Quality, Performance and Risk (QPR), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) where the incumbent is responsible for developing and managing performance measurement/metrics for an array of IT programs and projects.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

    Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. However, the work may require long hours to meet project deadlines and to devise corrective action and solutions to unexpected technical and/or management crises resulting in sometimes highly stressful work situations.

    Major Duties:
    • Designs, leads and/or conducts comprehensive program studies of various IT program initiatives to identify anomalies in benchmarks and strategies, as well as evaluations of data to include developing bi-weekly reports distributed to key stakeholders and management.
    • Develops and measures OIT wide goals structured to track the progress towards accomplishment of the organization's vision and mission. Monitors and analyzes OIT performance relating to programs and VA mission in assigned areas such as IT investment management and control and performance reporting using advanced analytical processes and tools to ensure compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
    • Provides guidance, assistance, and overall direction to senior QPR and OIT managers in the development of metrics and measures to assess and improve operational performance.
    • Designs and develops process and performance measurse, data collection techniques, data analysis methodology, and data integrity tools.
