As a Research Statistician, you will:
- Plan and conduct complex financial and economic research projects, including but not limited to short and long-term assignments involving broad systemic risk measurement and monitoring, and the identification and evaluation of innovation and its impact on financial markets, institutions, and the economy.
- Serve as an expert technical advisor, assessing the significance of financial, economic, and technological developments and their impact both nationally and internationally.
- Develop, identify, and apply statistical models and empirical techniques to analyze and assess factors affecting the financial system.
- Collaborate with other Senior Researchers within and outside of the Office to monitor and assess the significance of current and future financial, economic, political, and technological developments, including producing authoritative memos and papers on such developments, occasionally under tight time constraints.
