    The incumbent serves as the Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Decision Review Operations Center - District of Columbia (DROC-DC). The Director leads the DROC-DC in pursuit of optimal performance in all program areas, emphasizing priorities established by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Under Secretary for Benefits.

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent serves as the Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Decision Review Operations Center - District of Columbia (DROC-DC). As Director, the incumbent is fully responsible to the Executive Director for the Office of Administrative Review (OAR) for the effective, efficient, and economical direction, control, and operation of VBA's program of benefits and services provided by law for veterans, their dependents, and beneficiaries, and services for other Federal agencies, allied governments, and miscellaneous beneficiaries within the limitations of established policies and delegated authority.

    The Director is responsible for the coordination, integration, and management of the veterans' benefits and administrative programs in the DROC-DC. The Director leads the DROC-DC in pursuit of optimal performance in all program areas, emphasizing priorities established by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Under Secretary for Benefits.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
