Responsible for the execution and oversight of a nurse recruitment and retention program and other activities associated with highly competent nursing workforce.
Demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise, leadership, and creative approaches to management of nursing resources to assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate recruitment and retention efforts.
Collaborates with nursing leadership and human resources to ensure staffing levels are maintained through nurse retention and professional growth opportunities and maintains systems to account for staffing level.
Serves as the Staffing Methodology lead to include data review, collection, input, and presentation. Incumbent would be responsible to maintain all nursing functional statements and position descriptions, match qualified candidates with job opportunities, coordinate resource requests, and research issues impacting nurse retention and recruitment.
The Nurse Recruiter would design and implement recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and presentations, maintain working relationships with academic partners, and serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for nurse recruitment, hiring issues, staffing methodology, and staffing software.
Position may entail other duties as assigned.
