    The primary purpose of this position is protect the nation from weapons of mass destruction, including chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats; the CWMD Office is established as a national office within the Department of Homeland Security.

    As a Health Analyst GS 0601 14, your typical work assignments may include:

    • Providing subject matter expertise for chemical defense and chemical health security issues.
    • Providing technical expertise on local (community) level public safety, public health emergency preparedness and emergency management issues towards development of efforts which enhance resilience to chemical threats.
    • Providing program management and project development support through all phases of the project management cycle, including financial management of budget and contracting operations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
