    The Kansas City VA Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified Dermatology Section Chief.

    Responsibilities

    Practice clinical dermatology (and MOHS, if trained) in an academic teaching environment while also providing supervision to the division. We are a teaching affiliate with University of Kansas.

    This position offers the opportunity to practice and teach quality dermatology WITHOUT the roadblocks of insurance approval requests, requirement to pay for expensive malpractice coverage, and CME opportunities you will find no where else.     This unit does offer Tele-dermatology consultative care to enhance dermatology access for our Nations Heroes.

    Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Authorized
    This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program. To participate in the program, you must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy 1021 and submit your application within four months of appointment. The final award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) is determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services office.
