    Acute Mental Health and Mental Health Residential Manager.

    The Nurse Manager (NM) for Mental Health Inpatient Acute 2S and Mental Health residential program 2N is a registered professional nurse who is accountable to the Chief Nurse. The NM functions as a supervisor and assumes accountability for the operation of a designated unit, identified procedure areas, and clinics. This includes the management, supervision, and evaluation of care delivered by nursing and other allied health care staff. The NM is responsible for contributing to the establishment and implementation of evidence-based nursing standards of practice. In collaboration with the Chief Nurse, creates a safe, positive work environment which enhances care delivery and professional development of clinically competent staff. Promotes, creates, demonstrates, and ensures a culturally diverse workforce in which the values and needs of all individuals are respected and supported. The NM is accountable for the supervision and direction of the delivery of patient care by nursing personnel and is responsible for the coordination of activities at the unit level, distribution of resources and maintaining a patient centered care environment. responsible for the planning, integrating, implementing, modifying and evaluating the effectiveness of the Veteran's care.

    Work Schedule:

    • Full time
    • Monday through Friday
    • 7:30am to 4pm
    • Variability in tour may apply with 24 hour accountability
