    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a Contract Negotiator responsible for pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process from description of the requirements through contract delivery using a variety of contracting methods.
    • You will determine and develop contractual vehicles.
    • You will determine appropriate clause provisions such as cost accounting standards, requirements for technical proposals, testing procedures, cost data requirements and socioeconomic programs.
    • You will conduct pre-proposal conferences as required.
    • You will determine and develop contractual vehicles.

    • You will solicit proposals.
    • You will perform cost or price analysis including review of cost breakdown to determine reasonableness and cost realism.
    • You will obtain audits and pricing reports to develop negotiation strategy.
    • You will lead negotiations with contractors.
    • You will award contracts.
    • You will interpret technical, legal and audit decisions and analyzing their impact on the procurement as well as identifying trade-off and alternate courses of action.
    • You will provide advice and direction to other Contract Negotiators on contractual matters as necessary.
    • You will research regulations and policies and makes recommendations by analyzing the facts and conditions.
