    The incumbent will serve as the Branch Chief of the Surveillance and Field Investigation Branch and will be responsible for planning, directing and executing injury surveillance and investigative activities and services. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for formulating policies and programs, performing all administrative and supervisory responsibilities, and serving as the principal advisor to the Director of the Division of Safety Research.

    • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight in planning and developing programs and program initiatives.
    • Provide technical advice and consultation for the surveillance and investigative activities and services .
    • Provide statistical consultation on scientific and technical issues.
    • Develop and disseminate program data, information, and findings through publications and presentations at meetings and conferences.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for this position.
