     The incumbent of this position will serve as Team Leader for the Policy, Planning and Results Team within the Business Analysis and Results Directorate. You will be responsible for:

    • Leading the planning and performance of complex audits/evaluations of EPA programs, systems, and operations, including peer reviews and monitoring the progress of audit and evaluation performance; oversee the quality control and assurance program for EPA, OIG in compliance with Chapter 3 of the Government Auditing Standards, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards, and the Council of Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency Peer Review Audit Quality Checklist. 
    • Serving as the OIG national expert and technical advisor on OIG policies and procedures and writing OIG-wide policy and procedures; formulating and developing required policies and procedures in support of the OIG's mission and in response to management's guidance and/or changes, new legislation, regulations and Agency directives and orders.
    • Communicating OIG conclusions and recommendations to senior OIG officials and officials of other organizations.
    • Serving as a senior OIG representative in meetings and conferences with high-level EPA officials, congressional staff, officials from the Office of Management and Budget and other Federal, state, or local government organizations, the regulated community and outside interest groups.
