    The incumbent serves as an International Visitor Exchange Specialist in the Professional Fellows Division of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Office of Citizen Exchanges manages professional, youth, sports, and cultural programs through grants and cooperative agreements to American experts and non-profit American institutions, including community organizations, professional associations, and universities.

    • Developing and designing exchange programs that promote U.S. foreign policy interests.
    • Serving as Grants Office Representative on multiple grants and/or cooperative agreements with non-profit organizations.
    • Representing the Professional Fellows Division at conferences and meetings that involve representatives of the U.S. Government, professional organizations, and the public.
    • Organizing and participating in outreach activities on behalf of the Office, Bureau and/or Department.
