    Summary

    The Supervisory MSA is directly responsible for the administrative/clerical duties of the MSAs in support of the implementation and sustainment of outpatient clinic operations and scheduling; provide clerical and administrative support for multiple Clinical Departments.

    Responsibilities

    Manages, directs, supervises and coordinates the administrative staff; assigns and evaluates the work of subordinate staff; analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals and objectives.

    Resolves complex problems to ensure patient services are met; evaluating new products, equipment, and systems to make recommendations for improved operations; identifies educational or training needs; making final decisions on hiring selections; evaluating performance and taking disciplinary action when necessary.

    The employee has administrative and professional responsibility for planning and directing the subordinate lead, supervisor, and MSA's activities. Responsible for extracting and analyzing data to provide reports to senior management in support of tracking measures. For all assignments above the full performance level, the higher-level duties must consist of significant scope, administrative independence, complexity (difficulty) and range of variety as described in this standard at the specified grade level.

    Manages a health clinic while working independently to accomplish a wide variety of duties including setting priorities and coordinating work; experience applying policies and procedures associated with patient flow and patient care;

    Experiences showing the ability to identify customer's concerns, perform tasks required and resolve issues accurately and timely, following up as necessary to ensure a satisfactory resolution; experience preparing reports in various formats and presenting data to various organizational levels.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

    Occasional travel - Occasional travel to Athens and Statesboro CBOCs maybe required.
