    • Assess and evaluate the students academic needs to determine the necessity for additional academic support and provide student-athletes with services primarily in the areas of literacy and writing skills but also study-skills.
    • Analyze teaching and training methods, keeping abreast of latest developments as they pertain to subject matter and supplementing changes as they occur. Documents training sessions according to the Senior Student Athlete Counselors guidance.
    • Coordinates with academic staff, coaches, tactical officers, and other staff regarding progress made and problems encountered with cadets. Supports other members of the Center for Enhanced Performance in providing academic support services.
    • Attends and participates in departmental seminars to share and broaden knowledge and experience in teaching and training methods and techniques. Presents assessment data and other findings at national conferences.
