This position serves as a Property Manager in the Material Management Division of the Logistics Service in the VA Health Care System responsible for the inventory and lifecycle management of all non-expendable (NX) equipment in the assigned area(s).Learn more about this agency
Major Duties Consist of but not Limited to:
Lifecycle Management: responsible for the lifecycle management of non-expendable assets; conducts short, mid and long-term advanced planning; analyzes data; supports customers and acquisition personnel in developing requirements, utilizing mandatory sources and standardization sources; corresponds with procurement officials and other stakeholders to resolve issues;
Inventory Management and Control: Responsible for the management and control of NX equipment assets.
Serves as the point of contact for the coordination of material support and resolution of logistic problems; Conducts forecasting and quantitative analysis.
Conducts spot checks; and complies with special requirements for firearms, ammunition and sensitive equipment.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
