    Responsibilities

    Serves as Chief Intelligence Analyst for Army Futures Command (AFC) with emphasis on assessing the Future Operational Environment (FOE) in support of Army Modernization. Sets standards and serves as advisor to AFC leaders and managers regarding the FOE/All-Source analysis and its relationship to strategic and operational modernization requirements. Develops innovative analytic methodologies, ensures the integrity of existing analytical concepts, and is focused on anticipatory intelligence, alternative analysis, technology forecasting, and future land warfare analyses. Serves as the AFC lead for orchestrating and synchronizing AFC, IC and non-traditional partners in industry, academia and allied nations to assess the FOE. Drives the intelligence cycle by integrating threat-based analysis. Coordinates the efforts of analytical hubs to anticipate and explore select emerging and disruptive technologies, identify game-changers, and forecast key adversary technologies to shape Army modernization and sustain advantage. Serves as Co-Chair on designated Army modernization related Threat Coordination Groups and Steering Committees with Army G2. Establishes, coordinates, and engages FOE working committees at the Army Command, Army Staff, other Service, and at the Joint level and participates with other agencies, organizations, and panels critical to the operational success of the Army. As a result of the incumbent's FOE knowledge, experience, and professional network, serves as part of the Army leadership team that is an effective catalyst for innovations in the way Army develops its capabilities, provides intelligence information for modernization, and protects its critical technologies.
