As an Attorney Advisor, you will:
Ideal Candidate: A professional with proven experience who has served as an authoritative resource for an organization relative to legal issues involving sexual assault and sexual harassment, preferably on a college/university campus or a military installation.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
To qualify, your experience should include experience and education equal or equivalent to the following:
GRADE 14 - At least one (1) year of experience providing expert legal advice and counsel on matters relating to students reporting or considering reporting sexual assault and sexual harassment (SASH) victim status, handling extremely complex and difficult legal questions and factual issues involving the development, interpretation and/or application of legislation, regulations, and legal documents.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
