The Executive Director, Service Centers, provides full executive direction and leadership to a large, highly complex, and geographically dispersed organization responsible for insuring consistency and accountability across organizational units within Mission Support Services. The incumbent serves as a central Headquarters advocate for matters in the field. The position reports to the Vice President, Mission Support Services, has direct line authority over three geographically dispersed, multi-layered Service Centers which consists of approximately 500 highly technical and administrative positions and administers a budget of approximately $750M.
- Serves as a key advisor and authority on all air traffic and technical operations to include airspace and procedures, quality control, equipment installation and hiring and training.
- Collaborates with Executives across the Agency, other governmental agencies to include the Department of Defense, and the international aviation community on matters related to air traffic and technical operations support activities.
- Provides strategic direction for the development of policies and standards related to the operation of ATO Service Centers.
- Designs a comprehensive framework to enhance communication throughout the three service centers and Mission Support Services using events/media and administrative and financial tools.
Ensures consistency of operations, performance and cohesion at subordinate Service Centers.
Manages complex planning and business initiatives and executes organizational initiatives according to Mission Support Services business plans and budget allocations.
Sets priorities and ensures that the products, services and activities of the organization are complete and fully integrated across Mission Support Services and that they are consistent with the current organizational policy and strategic plans.
