SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate’s online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the federal service, i.e., NV-01 or GS-10. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: operational/tactical procedures, threat assessments, security planning, tactical response efforts in the safe and secure transportation of nuclear materials, and have a current Special Response Force (SRF) certification.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Conduct mobile unit tactical plan, including areas of responsibility;
Conduct pre-trip equipment checks (vehicle and personnel);
Lead team in tactical exercises at Operational Readiness Team, or Unit training events;
Ensure all trailer checks are conducted per Standard Operation Procedures and checklists;
Maintain accountability of all vehicle and personnel equipment
