As a Platemaker (Intaglio) Leader, you will:
- Assist the craft foreman in the administration of the routine work of Plate Maker (Intaglio) as assigned.
- Assure that the many complex mechanical and chemical processes performed in the platemaking effort are functioning properly, correctly adjusted and supplied with all necessary tools and materials.
- Assure that work in assigned area of responsibility progresses in a safe, orderly and efficient manner.
- Provide guidance on standard procedures, making appropriate adjustments to techniques and procedures if required, and provides clarification of assignments from the craft foreman when necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Requires moderate to heavy lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods. Good eyesight, coordination, and dexterity are required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
