In this role, you will be a critical part of establishing the new personnel processing function within the DFC. Duties include:
- Processing the full range of human resources transactions related to recruitment and placement, including novel and complex actions.
- Serving as an authoritative source on coding, processing procedures and processing actions using the Federal Personnel Payroll System (FPPS).
- Providing technical assistance to senior human resources specialists and hiring managers in the area of recruitment and placement.
- Writing vacancy announcements by reviewing duties outlined in the position description/statement of work and qualification requirements for the position.
- Developing job analyses and crediting plans
- Serving as the Master Timekeeper and Point of Contact (POC) for the WebTA system.
- Conducts new employee orientation.
- Receives visitors and calls. Answers questions concerning recruitment and placement requirements, procedures and forms.
