Serves as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools and works under the direction of the Installation Aquatics Program Manager.
Provides maximum pool area surveillance and responds to emergencies; rescues pool patrons and administers first aid as required.
Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to TC 21-21 or assisting with American Red Cross swim lessons as an Aide.
Adheres to Customer Service standards of the Installation.
Tactfully warns patrons who repeatedly disregard safety rules, and follows facility Standard Operating Procedures for disciplinary actions.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

Anderson Indoor Aquatics Center is home to a newly renovated indoor, heated, Olympic-sized pool. This 50 meter pool features a 1-meter diving board, a 50 foot tube water slide, and a rock wall. Large locker rooms are equipped with heated showers, and both hair and suit dryers. Anderson Indoor Aquatics Center also features a cardiovascular fitness room. This workout area includes a treadmill, ellipticals, stationary and recumbent bicycles, a rowing machine, and an 8-station Universal Weight machine. There is also an indoor eating and vending machine room.
We have two separate indoor and outdoor spray parks for the little ones in your life to enjoy! They are open during recreation swim hours. The outdoor patio area is home to our seasonal Splash Town Outdoor Spray Park, which includes an interactive spray park and our Tiki Hut Snack Bar (open seasonally). The Patio also has ample space for eating and sunbathing.
