    You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Cyber Department of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

    Responsibilities

    • You will provide advice to customers on appropriate acquisition approach necessary to obtain services or supplies.
    • You will collect and analyze relevant market research information from Government and non-government sources to facilitate acquisition planning and maximize competition.
    • You will prepare and maintain acquisition strategies/plans, synopsis notices, source selection plans, appropriate milestone charts and determinations and findings.
    • You will develop and issue Request for Proposals and Quotes in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • You will lead the review, negotiation, and evaluation of bids and proposals providing guidance to source selection team members.
    • You will make reward recommendations that represent the best value to the government.
    • You will conduct post-award orientations to address the customer concerns and contractor's responsibilities for performance of the contract.
    • You will monitor contractor performance through various reporting systems to track compliance with contract terms and conditions.
