    About the Position: Fort Bragg is co-located with Fayetteville, a culturally diverse city. Fort Bragg is known as the "Home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces". Fort Bragg is centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys seasonably palatable weather year round and is surrounded by several colleges and universities. Fort Bragg is two hours from the beach and approximately five hours from the Appalachian Mountains.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as Protocol Officer and advisor to the Senior Commander Fort Bragg, NC, Chief of Staff, DCofS-Mission Support, and subordinate units on all matters of protocol.
    • Advises on correct procedures, applies an expert knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of the program as well as a thorough knowledge and understanding of national and international rules, procedures, and forums.
    • Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Fort Bragg organizations, programs, missions, and functions along with knowledge of analytical and evaluative techniques to serve as advisor and consultant for briefings, conferences, etc.
