    You will serve as a ADMISSIONS SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.

    • You will establish an individual applicant dossier for both formal files and working materials.
    • You will verify eligibility verification is made from review of America Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) WebAdmit computer application records.
    • You will update and maintain oversight for confidential academic records and WebAdmit electronic comprehensive database.
    • You will monitor the progress of each applicant and conduct academic audits for admission requirements, to include baccalaureate degree, military status, age, citizenship, security status, and medical conditions.
    • You will ensure supporting documents are provided, e.g. letters of recommendations, personal statements and letters of approval for military personnel.
    • You will prepare statistical reports for the Admissions and Recruitment leadership.
    • You will inform the Admissions Director of applicant impediments.
    • You will coordinate with internal customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure that required documents are posted to participant records.
    • You will provide counseling for procedures, prerequisites, criteria and how to present a competitive application.
    • You will provide office correspondence for faculty inquires, pre-medical advisors, parents, draft Congressional responses, and applicant notification of positive admission decisions.
    • You will serve as Escort Officer (EO) during Interview Day, Open House events and "Second Look Days." Duties include providing oversight for base access, room scheduling, faculty and student participation and dining services.
