    You will serve as a SCIENTIST in the INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPPORT, CODE 54330 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data.
    • You will employ configuration management processes and ensure security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
    • You will serve as the technical lead, for complex multidimensional tasks, to government and contractor personnel in area of responsibilities.
    • You will be working with members of C and A staff to harden infrastructure resources in compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
    • You will develop/maintain/modernize software to support the software development processes for division applications, in accordance with current software development methodologies.
    • You will be responsible for, BIND DNS Administration, Email Design and Administration and LDAP Design and Administration.
    • You will perform analysis, research, design, development, installation, modification, or sustainment of systems or systems components across the entire life cycle.
