    About the Position: The Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (PEO, ACWA) supports the efforts of a highly visible group of scientist, engineers, and technicians tasked with demilitarizing the US chemical stockpile at unique chemical weapons demilitarization facilities.

    • Serves as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (PEO ACWA) Field office
    • Provide continuous monitoring of the development, standup and operations of the Cybersecurity program for the demilitarization site.
    • Participates as a member of various security working groups and inspection teams.
    • Reviews audit measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Serves as the Field Office authority on all complex and unique computer security systems and cyber-security matters related to the vulnerabilities and threats to government computer systems.
    • Makes recommendations on the approval of various computer operations based on security guidelines.
    • Provides guidance and support for the protection of information technology systems.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
