Summary
OIG is organized into three line elements: the Offices of Investigations, Audits and Evaluations, and Healthcare Inspections; along with the Office of Contract Review, the Office of Management and Administration and the Office of Special Reviews. In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 30 cities throughout the country.

This position will be in one of the following VAOIG locations: Atlanta, GA; Bedford, MA; Arlington, VA; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Bay Pines, FL; Hines, IL; San Diego, CA; Aurora, CO; Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; or Baltimore, MD
As a Supervisory Writer–Editor, you will:
-Assisting audit teams in developing OIG reports, including helping to plan, outline, write, revise, and edit drafts.
-Facilitating brainstorming discussions with individuals and teams to develop messages from data.
-Identifying opportunities to strengthen or clarify overall themes and report messages as well as addressing gaps in logic or evidence.
-Translating technical or complex information into simple, clear, and concise language.
-Suggesting ways to streamline or reorganize drafts and helping to respond to comments from stakeholders and agencies.Travel Required
25% or less - 1 to 5 nights per month.
