    About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Military Personnel Division with overall responsibility for the Military Personnel Management Program. As Human Resources Officer (Military) for the installation, advises the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR), Deputy to the Garrison Commander (DGC), supported Commands, and HQs staff on military personnel policies, and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages military personnel services for assigned military personnel and family members, to include, personnel processing, casualty operations, ID cards, awards recognition, training, education, evaluation, and promotion programs.
    • Advises the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR), Deputy to the Garrison Commander (DGC), supported Commands, and HQs staff on military personnel policies, and procedures.
    • Responsible for implementation of mobilization plans, systems, and procedures at the installation.
    • Through subordinate supervisors, assigns, directs, and evaluates work of subordinate organization elements.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% of the time for this position.
